I think that people who sent the most pulls requests in the last period could fork the repository to start a parallel better teeworlds! finally... don't worries about 0 players at the beginning (edited)

might be easier to remove functionality from ddnet than try to merge very old pull requests?

I replaced my github star right now, time to abandon the tired old repository

I downloaded the windows 64 artifact of the last build, I see there is a 20MB font / out 35MB total size unconpressed... I guess to support all alphabets glyphs

Apparently it's not meant to replace the vanilla repository, but just to "get some merges in before oy comes back". Which is never going to happen
