@Dune mrpg tee was based on 0.7 and then was fully rewritten on ddnet base only because nobody played actual teeworlds. its dead end since no updates on teeworlds -> less players interested in it -> playerbase switches to ddnet -> 0.7 based mods switch back to ddnet -> no updates on teeworlds

yes, base teeworlds is pretty dead, but I would argue this isn't because of the development, just the playerbase has dwindled

0.7 didn't retain players, even back when it was very actively developed

yes, but to reverse this we would need to offer a lot more, and have some solid plans for the game etc.

that's why we had a meeting, for a roadmap etc.

and I believe this roadmap sucked and would not let us gain any player, but that's what Oy and magnet wanted
