Teeworlds is a highly modded game with lots of different gamemodes. There are team-based mods like CTF (Caputre the flag), TDM (Team Death Match) and more exotic ones like DDRace (Dummy drag race, requires a partner) but also lot's of FFA/Solo mods like DM (Deathmatch), zCatch, Race (where you can't even interact with other players physically) and others. There is a lot to explore so I would recommend simply downloading the FTP game and testing it
