Adding an offset to the address of the config variable will likely result in the address overlapping another config variable's address. Instead, a static char array is used to get unique IDs. Add some tooltips to the statboard settings. See #2850. I don't think the other statboard settings need tooltips. This comment in the aforementioned issue should also be addressed.
