hmm actually ray tracing could be interesting for dynamic shadow casting or so if we ever dare to make tw more atmospheric, there are some great looking 2d games out there that have dynamic lighting but sure most of em use traditional ways of ray calculation
I could see it being used to implement something like a flashlight, but I doubt that's the kind of raytracing the person who asked the question was looking for

besides in 2d you can already have this effect for much cheaper than raytracing unless you care about reflective lighting which brings in many questions like material properties of tiles and stuff
How to take a screenshot in teeworlds, cuz my graphic card program (AMD Radeon Software) not working for this game, Win+PS doin a screenshot of desktop under the game tab xd and only PS button method working, but is annoying, bcuz I have to paste it into graphic program and then save...(edited)
