It already has help, hints and so on. The mod itself is complex and cannot be made simpler. A text window UI element that I can place anywhere where I want with customizable background opacity and text size would be nice. Currently I give help with MOTD because it's multi-line and big and readable enough (yellow chat messages without a background are not). But it is placed at the centre so I cannot use it for tips and on boarding cause it prevents player from doing anything in game as its in foreground. Broadcasts I use as short hints but they don't have background, too big and 1-2 lines long.(edited)

So they're not suitable for explaining and commenting what's going on in game in parallel too, just stating something.

Even simplest game provide on boarding but I don't have proper UI elements to do that.
I have thought about making a map level to learn people play it, but nobody will come to an empty server

Right now infClass in general is frustrating for newcomer for the first 1 to 2 weeks.
And I don't have tools to make learning process more pleasant.
People (except most hardcore players) mostly just feel like they're fallen into a pit with wild animals with so much things going on.(edited)

"I don't get an idea what's going on, is that supposed to be fun?" is the most common feedback from about-to-quit newcomer if they bother to write any.

Helping people in chat doesn't help because 1. It's slow 2. I don't know what's going on 3. people cannot explain properly what's going on near them

But all this doesn't mean that mod is not fun, it just have a steep learning curve. I would like to have tools to make it less steep for newcomers.
Problem: complex mods like infClass have a steep learning curve and a new player have a hard time to get game mechanics and even the basics. Currently most of players leave because they don'...
@Deleted User I know it was a separate client mod but it seems this could be done with a serverside mod with syncronised envelopes too?
