I think that's what mods are for, but I wouldn't mind some new official gamemodes if they are executed well and just as minimalistic as base teeworlds

I really liked the old zomb mode from 0.5 it was perfect 4 types of zombies and done

old zomb had normal zombies some bigger zombies and than sometimes a tank zombie would spawn that toke more damage than all the other zombs

if teeworlds adds more gametypes, they has to be new and designed with reason. like lms and lts which are made to introduce the dead states for tees.

besides, teeworlds doesnt default you to standard gametype anymore, there are not any good reason to reimplement existing mods. we probably shouldnt just merge some random mods into the codebase.

bots decor for ai controlled tees are added tho, so it would be good to add custom decors for things like zombies

what I liked about the old zombie mode was that it was more strategic managing ur weapon usage making good use of every shot managing to resupply during waves and sometimes if waves overcut each other things get out of hand quick but zombies didn't hook trap you they were simple like zombies in the walking dead they only inflict damage when u got to close / get overrun by a horde .. once the zombies infiltrated the weapon resuply spot it got tricky 😄

Current prorities should be imo:
  • Functioning Tutorial
  • Proper Announcements + maybe teeworlds client being able to fetch latest official maps
  • A new mechanic - liquids, mythical slopes or at least a new weapon/powerup. You name it, at least one novelty

you can report any balance issues on my server, we're constantly seeking a way to balance the game for newcomers vs oldies and humans vs zombies to make the game interesing, challenging but not too frustrating to everyone

I see the main problem RN that too few people are involved into interesting activities for TW. Teeworlds Europe make tournaments on vanilla CTF/DM, but it seems that's all.

you download Xing, LinkedIn, indeed, Stepstone from your app store and look for a job there that helps with relocation, does have an english speaking working environment. For example, I have seen job offers with such environments in Düsseldorf, Germany. @TsFreddie

I think you should add an automatic vote stop option on the client side, the server shouldn't be able to bug the client, tho the opposite is ofc more important

UDP is a stateless protocol, you know it. it doesn't have sequence id, nothing. If your upper level protocol don't have identificators to track request and response then nothing you can do there.

Any advices on how to promote my mod? ✅ added more features than infCroya and infClass had ✅ make my own discord server and invite ~50 players there ✅ involve them into game designing ✅ make a discord to game bot ✅ ported game to ddnet to make it available to both 0.6 and 0.7 clients ✅ invested like 3-4 months of my free time, leaned C++ in the process ❓ anything else I've missed? Result: ~150 unique visits per a week, 18 top online count once a week, server still mostly empty. (edited)
