What an issue! Can't wait to get home and write up my own opinion.

CJK glyphs usually takes up 3-4 chars of space. This limits the name to 4 to 5 glyphs which are way too less to express enough personality info. Meanwhile you can have Latin names that are obnoxiously long like 16 Ws. Relax and limit each case would be nice.

Packet size limit shouldn't be an issue with ingame players

I think 64th slot we reserved for mods, but if we report 64/63 and 0.7 can't join there was an issue with that

  • Only reset game client properties when going offline, fixing client freezes when seeking (closes #2737).
  • Only reset chat command manager when going offline.
  • Remove two redundant calls to OnReset in demo player, as seeking will also call OnReset.
  • Make sure all sounds are suppressed while seeking (m_SuppressEvents).
