Anyway, I don't know how the original code looked like and how much have you changed. Maybe you're compiling it wrong. Try to delete whole block and see if shotgun will stop firing at all.

If you're new to programming it's easy to miss that your code is not compiled correctly so you could just run old binary.

it could save you in the future from:

spending 0.5 to 2 months of porting your mod to a more popular version
seeing nobody playing your mod because you've choosen the wrong version

Teeworlds is a really small universe (700-1600 players are playing on 300 servers) and so many mods died just because their authors made a wrong choice and almost nobody could play their mods. (edited)

early releases, when there is no ddrace, people play other mods a lot more

yeah mod activity took a big hit when there was a boom of 0.7 ddrace servers and now it's worse with the bridge
