@Dune anything not fixed in vanilla 0.7 mainline but that can be exploited to DDoS or DoS my server.

I'm sure that if a severity of known issue with code will be high enough and it could be fixed without any substantial drawbacks it will be on the mainline.(edited)

But maybe there are some patches or techniques mod server admins are applying to fight DDoS or exploits which couldn't be fixed in mainline for some reason. For example they have side-effects I dunno.

I just see ppl are constantly fighting DDoS and I want to be ready just in case.(edited)
@Deleted User the only "stupid" thing that has been done is people who wanted to make a 0.7 server compatible with 0.6. They just "removed" fixes that were implemented on 0.7 against some DoS specific attacks

0.6 to 0.7 np, 0.7 to 0.6 is like: you can't overreact if your server gets targeted, because you've just opened a breach for ddosers

+ as far as I know we already discussed with some people about what should be done to really protect the server, we're a lot to ask for tcp sessions for new conns, and udp for ingame data
