Had been thinking about this since 2013, why not ban bitmaps and vectorize everything? like to debate potential issues that would occur if this was to be done, would the benefit be worth it?

Support for SVG would be usefull for example for quads. Instead of using one big graphic to prevent scaling problems we could use SVGs. This would even reduce the file size of some graphics.
