fundamentally, you could create a bunch of gamemodes just based off of hooks one could register via Lua

I already made engine-breaking stuff like map-generators which will not be possible with hooks

but at one point it's right, we are missing something like a partee mod with a lot of minigames and this would be much easier with hooks

scripting would make the code base not as easy to understand as it currently is. And it's actually rather easy to understand, at least if one knows some C++.

it's not telling you where e.g. the next laser spawns when you in need of one, but that laser has not soawned yet?
