@Slayer *gV* works just fine.. But only running one server at the moment I installed rasbian and then disabled the GUI. After that you can just follow the steps on how to compile teeworlds under Linux

From what I know, 1) skins often changing colors very often, being annoying, 2) players constantly renaming themselves, being annoying and hard to identificate as well - both scripted, probably

For what it's worth, I'm not a fan of that fix - although I think not changing names during a game is reasonable, names should be identities.

And isn't having 2 players with identical nicknames on a server is more annoying?

IDs are there to disambiguate that

I think part of the idea was that the chat should be optional (ability to turn off social)

As said earlier, I would like to discuss restoring the ingame UI for that - but changing names on the fly will require a protocol change

but not for the local character =\ you need to send a clientdrop before you can set new clientinfo but clientdrop does not work for the local character

yeah that's true I forgot about that

disable v-sync by defautl so a lot more players have no mouse problems anymore.
