Toggling the up-to-date filter (without a refresh) does not work because the corresponding bit in the sort-hash is overwritten by the ping value.

Right now the timer behavior is rather inconsistent. Some words on the current state: There are 3 timers: Warmup, Pause, Game starts... To start or resume a game the Game starts timer is mandatory. It lasts 3 seconds, tees cannot move meanwhile and it only starts when there are enough players for a new game. When the server starts a new round itself, it uses the Game starts timer. This is (or rather should be) configurable with sv_warmup. Values for sv_warmup:

Maps should use a cryptographic checksum, it is too easy to generate CRC collisions. This has the added benefit of proper tool support. This has already been exploited in the wild. I think the new checksum should be SHA256 which is a cryptographically secure hashing function. DDNet already adopted this: https://github.com/ddnet/ddnet/pull/1136.

The HSL Values are wrong. HSL definition is: Hue(degrees °) Saturation (percent 0-100%) Lightness (percent 0-100%) TW uses 0-255 values for HSL. i think the Color Picker should use the default values for HSL or should be changed to RGB. !screenshot_2018-11-18_12-41-22 !image

Something v-sync related is not working, The game is always trying to limit the fps to 60, every x seconds it jumps to ~120fps and then tries to limit it down to 60. The game than lags a split of a second cause of the fps spike. well a lot of games disable the HUD all completly when tabing scorebord I don't see why we shouln't just do that as well.. if scorebord is tabed it's obvious that the intent is to look at the scorbord so why need all that other stuff? clean it up!

@Dune i didnt forgot the last major release i just wasnt there back then i joined in 0.6 But i think the 64p got harder to implement and the broadcast thing is also very important for some modifications. And if vanilla makes the modder life harder the port to 0.7 will be harder

So here is the current state of the @SushiTee's scoreboard: !image I moved the scoreboard a little down compared to @SushiTee's original proposal because of overlaps with the HUD. There's a bunch of text in hud.cpp that should probably be moved up (at the same place as "Red team wins!") or disabled. I'm making the pull request already because I'd like people to test/discuss/suggest ...

I think it helps teeworlds that you can see many players in the master servers even tho the majority travels through the modded servers. You can still start an vanilla event and all your mod buddys are one mouseclick away

I love the fact that you can train one teeworlds skill. Mastering the hook and the aim and the rocket and some things and you can use it in vanilla and in different mods. If ddnet starts forking and touching the core game physics that would destroy the feeling of playing one game.

@1stDecadeTW i was pretty sure it was in one of Ubus movies but i just rewatched all of them and i coudln't find it .-. it was on ctf2 pre red base hooking the long 1tiler from bottom and waiting until the flagger passes

haha fok my brain. drugs not gud. It was actually shreko and not ubu and it was not the flagger and it was not blue but red base and he was actually doing it out of the speed movement and not camping

So, firstly, a three way handshake doesn't solve every issue

Token is way too short, I am pretty sure you could exploit it and take over a session within 5 minutes or so (brute force token, if result of accepted token isn't clearly visible ingame, you might also try detecting it via timing issues, as you're pretty much flooding the server with packets, once you got a valid token, crack md5 and take a guess at the base values, depending on how connections are tied to ips i might even imagine you trick the server into sending the other rotated token to you actually. Once you have control over their connection you could go further, if the target is logged into rcon, exploit that (and maybd even gain RCE on the server, at which point its pretty much gg).

Second thing, how are stale connections handled before a three way handshake is completed? If you don't really redesign the internal handling its easy to dos the server in one way or another (as you'd imagine some tls session key exchange dis)
