Imm trying to practice going over tight spots like one tile and two tiles. Looking at more advanced players and from my understanding you want to hook the ceiling to kind of get stationary and then hold forward BEFORE you start hooking forwards and then as you progress you hook the ceiling in a angle that is moving more "upwards"... am i understanding this correctly?
however you angle your hook is up to preference. some people aim more up but hook for less time and more frequently and some aim further, more to the side but hook rarer and for a longer time. if we're talking about longer 1 tilers that require more than 1 hook then you never hold a direction key. if it's a short 1-2 tiler then you usually press a direction key right before entering the 1 tiler
