@q idk how expensive st. Anton is, but i guess in big ski regions its about the same (~50€/day for ski pass only). I know saalbach hinterglemm as well as schladming is amazing to ski, but theyre the same prize too. If you want it cheaper you can go to some small local areas, but there you have no apres ski or flair in general, and you wont get cheaper than 30€/day for ski pass

And hotels/food etc will be about same prize too in the big skiregions. Cheap solution is renting appartement i guess and cooking yourself. Minimizing costs for living (edited)

I have a buddy whos dad has a buddy who has a hut directly at the skitrack in schladming, where we can rent for cheap € and cook ourselfes. Thats somewhat cheap living, but skiing itself is just expensive af

Schladming has reiteralm, which has best skitracks ive ever seen and experienced! And the apres ski is topnotch too

Oh and obertauern is also good, ive been there for one day some time back. You can ski on both sides of the valley, which means at am you ski on the sun side, and pm you go to other side (which was in shadow and still has good/hard/not melted snow on the tracks)

and you don't get blinded

Thats one problem in schladming, cause at like 2pm the track is so melted its not nice to ski
