Just as clarification: we know the tournament was hosted on/by kog and wasn't gores. Thats just a one-time thing. We wanted ddnet people to recognize the modification (made by qshar), so it maybe gets implemented in ddnet client. Cause that could allow for some cool new (gores) maps.
So the next tournaments will be gores as usual (ddrace sux ), today was an exception(edited)
@q moving tiles combined with animation triggers would have endless possibilities (openable gates, falling traps, timed events...) too bad we will never get animation triggers :/
Its what i was asking about several times already qshar. Being able to trigger envelopes like switch-tiles triggering a door to open, but tiles to trigger an envelope to start(edited)
I mean there is some workaround, you could for example force players in a speedup area + no movement tune zone, and make a moveable stopper that blocks the speedupway, and let it open at the right moment for the stuff behind to be in sync

I wanted to do that in a map, but since my wlan sucks im not active and not motivated to map since ages
I wanted to make an open world map, where time doesent matter (so i can abuse it for triggers) and then make little parts everywhere that reward a quest (=1 fixpts)
@ChillerDragon in my head it's like: have a tile like switch, it has a number 1-255. Envelopes connected to a tile stay paused (unless told to loop) and once you touch the tile the animation starts, when it's done it stays in it's finished position forever
