my idea is. hard/insane maps should mainly be tested and rated by very good players, since they actually can evaluate them properly and know what is good in a hard/insane map and what isnt. players from easy/main and maybe easy hard maps dont quite see it

Troll is real. But i actually agree with konsti. Sure qshar, anyone can test maps but its always the testers who have the last word. And this can be problematic. I dont want to Talk about shyzolo, i mean it just in general. I think our testers are good, they know the Editor Well and such and I am happy that they do this in their free time. But I think our current testers are not made for testing and rating harder or even insane maps.

Community should be more considered. Tester can have the last word, but only when they know what they are doing. (Coming Back to the pro players should test insane maps topic)

Well some settings could feel different like mousesense etc, but i dont care. Ath sux GWqlabsKek

@n000b ath doesn't have its own gameplay. The gameplay there is based on some version of DDNet client. I recommend to try 9.0.2 and 10.6.1

So what exactly would a vote system for maps do? After bugfixing, before release, we put the map out for public vote, which delays release some more days but doesent have that much to say really, and then we release anyways but delayed?

@q well they obviously go for the newest ddnet version which is different. Besides i hear more complaints and it feels not right, no matter what version they use. Imo it is just a matter of adjusting to the small differences which takes only a few days.

I'll probably stop playing in Gores because I try to replay with DDnet client and for me it's impossible, ban ath is really stupid for me. I think a lot of player like Fk Kira and me will also leave the game. (edited)
