Hi! given there was a huge uprise in our playerbase currently i decided to make a proper video series about certain aspects in our game which are not clear from the start.
our first topic will be gameskins, emoticons, particles and entities. to start with you'd need some assets, the source you'll find working the best as of right now will be teedata.net or the Tee directory discord which i will link down below. after you got your gameskin, particles and emoticons downloaded, go into DDNet then into Settings then into Assets and open your Assets directory.
Now all you need to do is put the file's you just downloaded in their respective folder, in my case i opened the assets directory of `game` which i'm gonna paste the downloaded gameskin in.
That is the case for every single asset, so if youre downloading emoticons, you need to put them in the emoticons folder.
after a quick refresh, you can now select it and play with it

a small note: if you install a lot of assets, espacially high resolution ones you’ll run into problems like THIS. So try to keep your assets folder clean :)
