that was simply to prove a point
we are a small community within a Free and Open Source game. We can't control what people modify or how they modify it

i would like to have moderators that constantly play on these servers (ehem.. @Cammodude where application)
but other moderators disagree, saying we dont need "blockers" as moderators

i was thinking off a way to report people the same way cs2 does it
tab for scoreboard
alt to free the mouse (or any other key)
leftclick -> report
opens new tab where you can say what you want to report etc
14:47
but it'll only work with either: verified email, accounts™️, or discord linked to it

clb? edit of copy the box map by 2_ta6letki_lsd and tee3d
copy the box itself has unknown origin afaik. last time i asked about this it was about some old s2k member which turned out to be a joke or something
I have a question, if I want to change my name and my dummy's too, and my name is longer than 3k but my dummy isn't, can I still change the names of both of them?
sigh the point is on TF theres no skill in fighting in the wb's cuz people can enter so easily and everyone is just spamming buttons and maybe getting lucky someones with a hammer

reminds me of that time me and my only clanmate won a game of fng
instead of saying "Red team wins!" it said "ATMPTKE wins!" and oh boy we felt so good in that moment
I feel like it'd be nice if it was an actual client feature because rendering particles as particles is way better than rendering them as arbitrary animated quads
21:04
but obviously for backward compat it's way easier to just use quads
ooh, an actually good idea for the editor: editor scripts
would allow adding niche editor features without the need for writing like serious C++
embedded Lua go brrr
21:12
also giving more power to mappers who dabble in programming but wouldn't bother with making their own version of the client

@risu i think a basic static particle layer would be awesome too, where it has particles in the bg that dont move
would work great with stars, because normally stars would need to have like, 5 layers to have the paralax effect

You could get that with particles that have zero initial velocity and no acceleration with infinite lifetime
21:55
Oh yeah, a parameter you would need is a max number of particles, and possibly spawn rate, though that is a bit redundant for continuously spawning particles
