if a studio designed around nanite maybe, something like having a pipeline where nanite generation are done during artists review and it will just be ready when level designer sees them. no idea how to set it up tho for larger game it actually is generally not possible to run it at any sensible framerate during the development and profiling. some technical testers prefer to run it in editor and editor can run upto 5 times slower which can be the difference between 14fps in editor and 72fps in release build integrating DLSS/FSR actually takes a fair bit of time especially with custom render pipeline. during pre-prod we might modify the render pipeline too much to afford to have a third party integration sits in the middle of them. they are not just a setting we can just turn on and be done with it. never done frame gen so no comment on that.

also if you have connections with nvidia people. they might actually send people to intergate them for you in exchange of having their logo on start up. the first company i worked at had that once with nvidia reflex, not dlss tho. and you definitely shouldn't let outside people mess up your render pipeline from the beginning. in that case it was 100% integrated prerelease when everything else is fixed and doesn't need much refactoring, so you can let outside people dig in and find some entry points to modify and locked it down.

although apart of the skin database page which is fully client side rendered. most other problem in ddnet.org is fixable without redesigning the site by using the @media (scripting: none) css query
