I'm making a puzzle map, and i'm in front of a problem, if i put some time check points, it'll help a lot to find out how to do the map. But if follow the pipou tuto, he said that the check time check points are needed to post a map, what should i do, is there a way to hide them even if you have entities on ?
Avatar
I don't think it would be against the rules to add decoy checkpoints...
Avatar
time checkpoints are optional for fun category maps

I would prefer it with time cps but I have no idea how the map looks like so I can't judge. They could always be added later I guess.

And feel free to use practice. You don't need to finish it in a legit way to prove that it works.

I got 2 questions 1) how do I make a dummy map start (the first person who touches start is deep) 2) How could I punish the tee for stopping to hook the other tee (he needs to hook the other tee during the entire map)

1. Create a switch layer, and place the off switch next to the deep like this

2. You could look at Tied Up and Ron for inspiration

And what about puzzles maps with this ? The gameplay can't be intentionally misleading or confusing. The gameplay can be hard but it should be easy to read. The structure of the map should help read the gameplay when zooming out. From the pipou documentation.

Depends on your map i guess
