eh - wrong. DDNet has control over the masterserver, so we could theoretically just blacklist the IP. The Client has nothing to do with that ^^

masterserver also has to follow rules, otherwise people will start to run their own masterservers

They worked it out so they can use the same masterserver separate lists

would be nice for servers to broadcast their netversion to master so client would know if its really compatible

im sorry but ddos protection is not something ddnet can afford. there are nice people in community like davide that have access to datacenters they work at, but we have none of these in russia
