Yeah I'm trying to get through it but sincerely if it had some extra tech needed it would be an intermediate map

If it was released today it 1. wouldn't be made official because it's not very good 2. would absolutely not be Novice

Like, at some point you have to align yourself to a 1 block wide hole almost all by yourself

that's not exactly a big deal

you may wanna check out the command cl_dummy_resetonswitch 1 Then remember to turn it off using cl_dummy_resetonswitch 0. It should make hookfly easier, but you'll lose the ability to hold a key with your dummy (edited)

You can join any empty server and either vote a map category and map through the vote menu - or type /map map_name

You can also download all maps by going onto: https://github.com/ddnet/ddnet-maps And downloading the .zip file, if you want them locally ^^ (edited)

Tee skins are usually pretty simple and clean shapes, which is what vector is good for compared to normal drawing (raster)

How do you plan to ban a server? DDNet doesnt host their server so they cant shut it down The only thing that is maybe possible is making that server invisible in ddnet client but nowdays a lot of people play on other clients like tclient so it wont affect them (edited)

But I really enjoyed playing it and now it's over

eh - wrong. DDNet has control over the masterserver, so we could theoretically just blacklist the IP. The Client has nothing to do with that ^^

we have cases where servers were blacklisted, these include: passworded servers that advertised cheat clients. servers trying to fully mimic DDNet servers to (maybe) IP-Grab or with other malicious intend. and a few more that i cant recall rn (edited)
