1:1 resolutions are not supported. The smallest supported aspect ratio is 5:4. Our UI doesn't work with 1:1 resolutions, it already has some issues on 5:4 resolutions.

16:10 should work fine. We could support 1:1 and ultra widescreen resolutions by making the menu not take up the entire screen and scaling the background map and ingame instead

if this is possible, then that’s very good, but you should think about what will happen if you press esc and go to settings and other tabs, just if you think like that, there is a lag in the transition from another resolution, then you won’t be able to make only the game scale
