Hey everyone,
I made a visualization of DDNet players, and here’s how it’s set up:
Node Sizes: The size of each player’s node is based on their total points
Connections: Lines between players show shared team ranks
Node Colors: The colors are generated using a community detection algorithm based on team ranks, grouping players into unique communities
The players shown in the graph are taken from the top 1000 players based on points
The graph isn’t perfect I’d need more time to tweak the algorithm and settings to make it more accurate, but it still gives a cool overview of the connections
