@Sans i do love it when it's done the right way. and maybe mostly in racing or faster games. the main problem of motion blur is that games just do it kinda wrong. game cameras has been simulating real cameras for decades but they still fuck it up on how wide the stutter angle could be and goes beyond 360 degrees which is physically impossible. Also the early 2000 ghost image type of blur that just overlays the previous buffer on top of the current frame is not motion blur. (edited)

nixos is quite straightforward if you just use the basic functionnalities, otherwise, you need to learn a language to have 100% reproducible builds

I haven't had a chance to nix yet, but I hear great things about it. The system being declarative is pretty cool, you also seem to get almost gentoo levels of customization with the ability to easily fix fuckups

at least from what I've observed, Nix seems to be pretty good to not let me fuck up a system so bad and have to remember what I have done from the top.
