and then type: exec deepfly.txt into the ingame console (F1).
To toggle deepfly on/off, press "C" on your keyboard.

True. I compiled DDNet from the ebuild in guru Portage overlay, and it freezes me. I suppose it checks netcode fingerprint and compares to officially distributed builds

It will probably freeze you if you compile it for Windows, too. I'll try to see if it triggers on official Linux build, as for now I assume it does not
