(in ddnet its usually not a straight up server crash but you still get 10 billion ping and fail if you werent standing on the ground) (edited)

usually the network connection to the server gets overloaded, or more rarely the CPU of the server. Both have that effect.

won't work on AwB, KoG, DDNet, and Blockworlds since they all utilize DNSBL - vpn's, hosting and proxy server ip's are blacklisted

the problem is not that I can’t play under a specific IP, the problem is in the client that rejects any proxy connection
