FSAA (or any anti-aliasing) basically does what's happening in this picture - even tho iirc we're not even actually doing FSAA so the naming is wrong - but i'm not to sure about that. @Teero knows iirc.
HIgh Detail is self explanatory - it's a setting for map makers to include/exclude certain graphics that are only shown with this setting on. it's done to prevent super bad PC's to loose performance.
