DDNet is very ping sensitive and does not trust the client to fix its physics, only the server decides what happened. Other games trust the client more, but that makes it easier to have cheats like flying through maps

try pinging the server and seeing if you have lag spikes or packet loss

other games don't rely on every packet that heavily

ik wifi more packetloss and im just crying but its the 1 reason i would quit the game

depends on wifi chip hardware/firmware so far

im 5 ping in some servers and i still lag often

the same chip can behave different on windows and linux even

home wifi is 20mb/s and previously it was 5mb/s or less
