Can or is? If you're not "proficient" in a language, please don't translate it. It's more work for others to control and fix than do it themselves at that point. Trying to help is great, but we had incidents of people translating pages with AI that were just.. horrible

ai is great when half the words don't exist in your language and you as a native have to guess if that's how other people would call it too

Translating something 1 to 1 would sound horrible in most cases, you need to have it make sense Drawback to the German translation of steam workshop to dampfwerkstatt (edited)

Although I use a translator to speed up the process, I understand what I’m translating and make the text more understandable for the ukr community

Estonian translation still says "light switch the dummy" because there literally isn't a word for "switch"

How well could you just derive it from English ? Since English and German are decently similar, it's pretty easy to use an English term for certain German sentences where it fits

Even tho German is in my opinion the most turing complete language I know of, we can just make up word chains and every German understands (edited)

estonian is similar to finnish and other languages around that area

Well going from cryllic to our "known" letters - I can imagine the pain I also find it really cool to see Russians being able to switch between both on the fly - I wish I could do that

Whenever I turn on Japanese keyboard and type in it for like an hour, switching back to regular layout feels weird every single time
