I can compress textures from memory in runtime as well, as long as it's keep being loaded in memory. However I want to make sure that import setting is saved, so even if I remove it from memory, I can load it back with the import settings still being used (Godot automatically saves it as cache)

hm, it's made by NekoRul, if he's still around i'd ask him for permission i'd generally say it's fine if you prefix it with santa_ so it's compatible with the client prefix, but i'm also not involved in the skin db, @Souly might be a better person to ask
