I had the same problem for months. Didnt care much so when i reistalled the pc it fixed itself. I recommend deleting the ddnet files in both %appdata% and where you downloaded it.

We don't support changing the audio device in the settings at the moment, the game should always use your default audio device even if you change it while the game is running

You can get a tool called mtr, to run a trace to ger10 and ger2. Ping issues are usually due to routes, nothing much we can really do tbf, but if it's an issue in a hop close to our isp maybe we can report it
