Hey, Jimmy and me just came across this. If the player with strong holds hammer while getting unfrozen and the other player holds jump inside freeze the double jump is consumed resulting in less height and loss of the first jump.

iirc it has to do with client id too, dont remember 100% tho was a while ago when i tested it

Before it went to 1900 fps now it doesn't go above 500 when recording
rework your entities, it's not problem of ddnet since normal design has no 1 pixel gaps or anything

antialiasing (from texture sampling) should prevent rounding shenanigans like this happening, it looks like each tile is being rounded and then overlapping which.. is weird?

its just tileset with 1 px margin in 32x32 tile

years ago every mapres had to be dilated before used because you would have 1 pixel lines in unexpected places like this

maybe its entities from this era that had to be moved/dilated to be rendered as intended

did you turn on msaa (fsaa) in the graphics settings of the client? did you update your graphics drivers? You can always download old clients to check if the problem is really only in new ones

Yes, I activated the fsaa and in fact it didn't change anything, and when I deactivated it the same, my drivers are updated, I was able to downgrade the game to 18.6 and yes, I saw that the problem was with version 18.7

alright, last thing we can do is: Maybe the backend changes between 18.6 and newer (you could for example after the client started press F1 -> look for purple text starting with "gfx..." and see if the backend is the same for both versions

your gpu is rather old, it probably doesnt have vulkan support

it's possible your gpu claims to have vulkan support but then fails during setup

if you're forced to use a VPN for anything. try to create an exception for DDNet if you turned it off and it's still happening, restart your pc

If your VPN allows it, use "split tunneling" for DDNet, I'd recommend paying for a better VPN if it doesn't allow this

Not really, as I notice no complaints of lag in the chats after it loads, and all players are progressing normally as well (edited)
