thankfully I know that steam doesn't allow people to integrate steam login like that, you have to do an oauth flow redirecting to steams website

Basically they ask you to do something for them, then the page with said something has a login with steam button that redirects you to a page that looks very much like steam's login page

Basically looks like you're on steam's site 1:1, I don't remember what the url is but iirc it was very close to seeming legit as well, or I didn't look too much at it because my friend sent me it, so I was a bit vulnerable, didn't expect my close friend to send me a phish link.
