The font I'm using here is Butter Chicken which is "Free for personal use". I assume it's fine to use here?

depends what do you mean by "here". in map for your own use, i think so in map to host it in any game so that others will see it (very debatable - until you or server owner won't get any money from it then it should be fine) btw by showing it, you already broke the license agreement

discord and ddnet are not non profit organisations (nobody will ofcourse hunt discord for this kind of images hosted on their servers xD however you won't be able to host the map with this font on official ddnet servers)

Font license should make it very clear if you can use font for ddnet or no

So if I wanted to submit the map, I should change the font

If you want the map to be on official ddnet servers then in my opinion yes you need to change it to something that is "free for commercial use".

Well, I've used the font from my map in a lot of things I've made, it's become a part of my go-to general assets, that's why I asked instead of finding something more flexible
