can anyone explain why it is sometimes really laggy and delayed when i want to drag a texture of quads with [shift]? It seems like a bug but idk. what am i doing wrong? 🤔

texture coordinates, they're called U and V instead of X and Y for historical reasons

when you move quad with shift you don't move the quad itself but at image in it basically

thus you can make huge mountain quad with only 1 quad (considering it has proper sides for repeating)

Normally you don't have to use it, if you do you should stretch the quad (for example 2 right red dots in right direction) and then set values for tex (i'm not sure if it's easy to calculate, i do it visually) good thing to know is that left top red dot is (0; 0) by default, top right is (0; 1024) and so on
