There's a reason mappers don't really map around speeders anymore, it's a very unintuitive buggy mess. Most just use tune zones lately to simulate somewhat similar gameplay, which I'd argue is also unintuitive, but alas. Lesser evil I suppose(edited)

I'd like to add that speeders aren't the reason for that. As teero said it's because of velocity ramp.
You can reproduce that with sg bug, tons of rockets, and ig anything that gives you lots of speed really.

hmmm pretty sure it is O.o.
Tested with sg bug like 2 days ago and worked.
And afaik there's a map that uses this mechanic with rocket (I'm unable to say the map name tho).(edited)
I guess it's the same thing, ya. But it's not really on the same level as what speeders allow, imo. Outside of SG bug launching you into the ceiling in 1 frame. These speed glitches all seem very different to me, and I've never seen anything besides speeders allow you to come to a 100% stop due to it, besides jetpack endlessly flying into blue tele, or sg bug ofc.(edited)
