When you download the game in beta version via steam and then leave the beta version, the game closes before it opens up. It looks like I have to dowload the beta version and leave the beta version again to fix this. Its a bit weird

If jt still happens can you try out a different renderer (e.g opengl3.3) and see if its still the case?
I don't see what could've caused this, maybe something was updated that went over my head
Add check for map image data being loaded from map to avoid null pointer access.
Add check for size of map image data to avoid out-of-bounds reads.

Something within the steam runtime was updated lately, this also happened to me.
Updating my graphics driver's fixed it

The old version 18.5.1 does not contain any security issues according to kaspersky. There must be a change that makes the antivirus classify it as malware. Obviously I am not saying that the executable is necessarily malicious. Maybe kaspersky updated their analyzer and returns a false positive. Maybe windows certificates are not up to standard. Or whatever
This regularly happens with Windows Defender as well, I guess because the executable of new versions is initially unknown. Once many users have downloaded it or reported it as a false positive it gets cleared again.
This is a false positive of the PDM module.
Detection will disappear within 24 hours.
To fully correct all defects related to future versions of the software, the System Watcher logs and the anti-virus product traces are required.
I don't use Kaspersky so I can't assist with that. If anyone wants to help I can DM the detailed instructions that they sent me.(edited)

As I said, we didn't update the game cause it was already up to date at that time. Yesterday I was playing without any 'problems'. But the next day when I turned on the pc (I did nothing else) Kaspersky reported it
Apparently even just reloading the background has fixed it.
Now I have some weird circles that I didn't see before but that might just be me or my background being weird.
