I tried to reproduce the things of yesterday night on DDNet Client 18.7:
Case 1: Normal Deepfly Bind
Holding d with normal deepfly bind, whenever you issue the cl_dummy_hammer toggle to 1 via pressing down mouse1, the dummy will stop copying your movement. I also observed the arrow above the dummy disappearing, but sadly, there seems to be a bug in the current client, that i cant render the arrows (even tho i have showhud on and cl_show_directions 2

how did I just realize this
I feel stupid for not realizing this earliercl_dummy_hammer
being 1. In some cases the dummy did not stop at all. Still it was not consistent at all.
