Do you remember from which to which version you updated? Did the issue happen again with a recent version? Are you using Windows or Linux?
As i've experienced, it's only happened on windows so far, and has happened pretty often prior to 18.3.1

I've switched to linux and I don't recall it happening since, but I saw it quite a few times between 16.3.2 to 18.3.1 on windows

Granted, I also missed multiple versions at a time before it happened

are you playing via cable or wifi? ddnet is really touchy in sense of network connection
