DDNet is a branch of servers for the game Teeworlds, focusing on a mod called DDRace, which is a co-operative game mode made for Teeworlds by reworking how the game was originally intended to be played. The Teeworlds client on steam uses the 0.7 version of the game, whereas DDNet uses 0.6, a majority of the player base refused to swap to 0.7 for various reasons. DDNet has been modified to be able to connect to 0.7 servers, if anyone desired to do so. The Teeworlds client focuses entirely on the original game modes, which are PVP oriented. The client is severely lacking in comparison to the DDNet one, a very small amount of people use it in comparison, there's no real point.
