Device lost is sadly the non-saying error variant. Can be caused by the OS, by overheating, by bad contacts on the hardware, overlays, apparently sometimes even out of memory, that cannot be handled properly (but your GPU is a monster so unlikely)

You can ofc try OpenGL, if it crashes there too it's most likely the driver or hardware problem

And yes it's quite possible that the OpenGL drivers are more robust in some aspects. I am no driver programmer so I cannot tell what hacks they implement to deal with such situations.. Maybe they simply accept stuttering or smth?

it takes 15-20 mins and then comeback to Vappy, it got crashed in the same server, i was playing in 18.5 and go to 18.0 to see if issue fix, also i boot PC and didnt regret Vappy name lol
