can u slice laser spiners?
not really. the moment you slice the laser, you cannot make it suddenly appear after it, unless warp (teleport entity) works with it

Did you read the https://ddnet.org/rules/ and https://ddnet.org/guidelines/ ? Some mistakes you made are explained in the guidelines. Maybe i will take a closer look later.

i did a playthrough. it has alot of issues:
  • basically everything is very tight, that's bad for groups who play the map
  • in addition the parts are hard because they have very close timings with big time punishments for small fails, more space would help here too
  • the map is very repetitive, which is very unpleasant
  • many fails are quite unfair and don't feel nice at all
  • the constant change of double jumps is confusing and not really necesary for the gameplay you offer, the map would be better without the jump tiles
  • as already mentioned, avoid special tiles to fix skips, find ways to implement your ideas without too much confusion
  • some stuff is not really intuitive, you have to communicate better what to do (hard to sum up) i liked some ideas, but overall the map is outdated (d-word). i don't want to discourage you from mapping, but you need more experience with the game to understand what's good and fun. i recommend playing popular moderate maps like baby aim (1-3), sunlit peaks, garden (there are more options and different mapping styles that are good) and maybe also take a look at classic brutal maps like stronghold to get an idea about what failyness is good for moderate/low brutal (e.g. it should be easily saveable).

that question is hard to answer because it depends on how you rework the map. in my opinion the map is far from getting released, you need to change like almost every part and probably find better ideas that are more fun (i think some stuff in the map right now is hard to rework into a part that's fun).

that's a good question xd there are different opinions and different map styles. drag maps/parts are examples of complex parts that are fun. faily maps can be fun, because they are nice to play in groups (they should be fair and balanced tho). your map doesn't really fit into these categories now, which makes it hard to find maps you can take a look at. this map https://ddnet.org/maps/Forgotten-32-Lands/ might be a map to take a look at (it's a bit outdated but still a fun classic map)

the ceiling grenade thing? that was a bit dull and repetitive, i also cheated a small part with a ceilinghammer xD the tele hook thing was annoying because it was hard to find the spot to hook through, i used super here to save some time..

well difficulty is all relative to the skill of a player, as long as the maps difficulty is consistent then theres usually no issues in that regard. imo, when hard parts become annoying is when theres any sort of "rng" or inconsistency and you feel like its entirely random when it works and when it doesnt. I also think it matters that the parts still feel good/fun even when you fail them and arent annoying. Though im not a mapper its just what i feel from playing the game

that's a bad solution, you should find a better setup for your part (for example with teleporters) so you don't have to repeat boring stuff if you do a small mistake
