It's correct usage. players' means that it belongs to a group of players and player's means only to a specific one (yourself in this case).

game crashed after fast switching among display modes (borderless windowed...) with obs capture

also I don't know how to correctly capture the game.. I can use a window capture for the game in borderless window mode, but then my screen starts tearing and have to use vsync which lags badly

and if i use game capture obs can't capture anything with vulkan backend

last time i was on windows and tried streaming it worked in fullscreen etc.

the steam version does not work the version from ddnet.org does not work the aur version does not work the flatpak version DOES work
You could try to set the WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 env variable and take a look at what it prints before crashing. i.e. WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 <DDNet> 2>ddnet_wl_dump.txt (edited)

Note that the flatpak package distinguishes itself from the others because it uses its own, possibly old, build of Mesa.

Also I presume you were passing the SDL_VIDEODRIVER=wayland env variable, right? Because SDL2 defaults to x11 otherwise.
