Multeasymap has always been popular for being an easy t0 map for noobs to get into (also a popular map for people to block / hangout on), Linear was popularized by the player texnonik by posting a tiktok video about it, causing a big influx of new Russian players. (edited)

So really just many new players who only play Linear so far? Okay then. New players are always welcome. Hope they transition to other maps soon, so there is some variety in maps again.

Agreed, a majority of them probably won't though, if I'm being honest. Linear is a pretty unique experience, in that you can solo it entirely as you get better at the game; there are some others ofc, but not as easy.

True. KOG-Servers could be a good start. However, even novice KOG-Servers are quite a challenge for new players. Only time will tell.

ehhh I think copying settings_ddnet.cfg and any other .cfg you added should be enough for friends and binds

demos take up alot of space and you don't really need them, don't have to copy those

i just took everythink, it was just a total of 1.8go

well players need to have been visible in the demo for you to be able to spec them

anyways you put a spec on one guy and after export in ends up on another one (edited)

yeah ik, I put spec on player "tee" in demo then I click "export" and it is on some player I speced when I was in game and not on "tee" (edited)
