Unrelated question: Why can't I do moves reliant on other tees? I've been playing for years and can do very complex gores related maneuvers, but sections where I'm hooking a tee through freeze or hammer flying that isn't straight up elude me. The timing for both of these is inconsistent and I've never gotten a grasp on them

I can't even complete most moderate maps because of this. It's so fucking frustrating
At least with a lot of players. Regardless, even when it's just me and my dummy, I've never been able to get a handle on the timing for hooks where movement comes into play
well you have to adjust your inputs to your ping. If you are playing on different Server Locations or have an unstable Ping this will make it much harder

with antiping on its more like u see what u get and those differences are evened out

like no antiping u might need to preaim a bit, antiping on you aim on tee

@lolkildal you had so much speed that you skipped the hitboxes of the shields.
it helped that you were between the shields. their hitbox is round, so the row of shields is thinner in the gaps.
with their hitbox radius of ~1.5 tiles, you can skip them without any speed only if they are one tile further apart
