Do you think they are rational human beings? There is no morally correct reasoning to dos the servers of a free, community-driven game, i don't get it at all. Even if you hate some of the players it does not justify that action. Embarassing tbh (edited)

Well, it feels like DDOS have been a huge part of TW. Never encountered similar issue on other games, though, other games I play have more means to protect themselves

The game is real time, UDP based. If you drop a packet in LoL you probably won't notice it, as your character just moves on on its trail. If hou drop a packet in tw u just release ur hook and fall into death... painful

Probably servers have low bandwith bottleneck

@Learath2 there are strange network stuff happening on GER10, while playing with a dummy or after a lag

Probably an issue with snapshot recovery thing, I can try to reproduce it, see if it ever recovers

Well its not a big issue, I just try to avoid ger10 and its alright

If you want to figure it out, ask Davide to enable the protection explicitly on one game server and experiment there I guess
