i've just increased the limit from 300 to 500 saved servers a month ago or so. won't increase it again because i don't think the userbase grew that fast, people are just creating new servers instead of reusing their old ones... (edited)

not sure if this is related to the server version, the ddnet game server version will probably be updated at some point in the future when i get to install trashmap on a vps with an up to date debian version (edited)

they are deleted after sitting unused for 30 days. they are really just a few lines in a json file when they are not running so increasing the limit beyond 500 wouldn't be a real issue probably... not sure what to do

I have one question left, how do I get in there now???

it should say the ip and port on top of the page something along the lines of trashmap.ddnet.org:1234 (different number of course) copy that into your game client server browser to join

you might also find the server in the serverbrowser by searching for "trashmap" but i've heard it doesn't work for some people

is there a reason why its 30 days? imo its a long time before the server is cleaned up

maybe i just dont know other use cases but isnt it either you test your map at least once aa week or you take a break from mapping and dont test at all
